How we collect, use and protect your personal data — in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law.

White and Black Lights Parties & Entertainments Services L.L.C (trading as “White & Black”; “we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your personal data and respecting your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect through our website whiteandblack.ae, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and the rights you have. We process personal data in line with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021) and its implementing regulations.

What personal data we collect

We only collect the data we need to respond to you and run our business:

  • Enquiries you send us. When you use our contact form, we collect your name, email address, phone number and the message you write.
  • Influencer listings. If you submit our influencer listing form, we collect the details you provide — such as your name, email, phone, location, nationality, content category, languages, social media handles, audience size and portfolio links.
  • Team contact details. Pages such as our staff contact cards display the name, job title, photo, work email and phone number of White & Black team members, published with their consent.
  • Technical information. Like most websites, our hosting server automatically keeps standard log data (such as IP address, browser type and the pages visited) for security and to keep the site running.

We do not use advertising or tracking cookies, and we do not run third-party analytics (such as Google Analytics) on this site. We do not collect special-category data (such as health, religion or biometric data) through this website.

How we use your data

We use your personal data only to:

  • respond to your enquiry and provide the services you ask about;
  • communicate with you about an event, project or proposal;
  • consider and contact you for influencer listings, collaborations and opportunities (where you submit the influencer listing form);
  • maintain the security and proper functioning of our website;
  • meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

We rely on your consent (which you give when you submit the contact form) and on our legitimate business interest in responding to enquiries and operating our agency. We do not use your contact-form details for marketing unless you separately agree to it.

How long we keep it

  • Contact-form enquiries are deleted within 30 days, unless they lead to an ongoing project or business relationship, in which case we keep the relevant records for as long as needed to deliver and account for that work.
  • Influencer listing submissions. We add the contact details and profile you submit to our contacts list so we can consider you for future collaborations and opportunities, and we keep them for as long as they remain relevant to that purpose or until you ask us to remove them. The email notification of your submission is deleted once your details have been added.
  • Team contact details remain published while the person is with White & Black and consents; we remove them on request or when they leave.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing or purposes.

The only parties who handle your data do so strictly on our behalf to run the website — principally our website hosting provider (Hostinger), which stores the site and the messages you send us. These providers act under our instructions and are not permitted to use your data for anything else. We may also disclose data where we are legally required to do so by a competent UAE authority.

International transfers

Our website and email are hosted on servers located outside the United Arab Emirates (with our hosting provider, Hostinger). This means your data may be transferred to and stored in another country. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your data is protected to a standard consistent with the UAE PDPL.

How we protect your data

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including secure hosting, access controls and encryption in transit (HTTPS) — to protect your personal data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.

Your rights

Under the UAE PDPL, you have the right to:

  • request access to the personal data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your personal data;
  • withdraw your consent at any time;
  • object to or restrict certain processing;
  • request that your data be transferred where applicable.

Children’s privacy

Our website is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be posted on this page with its “Last updated” date.
